Success is the sum of small efforts put day in and day out. After a week of preparation the time had finally come to execute the plan of conducting a training programme exclusively for the international students of BBA. The themes selected for the training session were Leadership and Team Building. A team of 4 student trainers under the guidance of Dr Raghavendra AN conducted this training programme on 11th March, 2019.

A counselling session was conducted 12 days prior to the workshop which gave a bird’s eye view on the programme after discussion with international students of our department. Announcements were made three days prior to the training programme in all BBA Classes.

The students reported at 2 PM to room number 105 which is located on the first floor in the central block on 11th March 2019. Attendance was taken and a small brief about CUMA and CUGNA was given. Next, the students were made to take part in an ice breaker called balloon stomp. After this, a small brief on team building and leadership was given along with videos.

Next part of the session was conducted in the Basket Ball Court adjacent to Central Block where students were made to participate in outdoor activities. A series of three activities were conducted, first one being balancing a T.T ball on a cardboard, the next one being making a tanker out of paper and lastly, the team standing and moving in a line while balancing balloons in between them. One team stood victorious among the rest.After the conclusion of activities, we had a feedback session where constructive feedback and ideas for the next session were given by the foreign students of BBA.
